Remorse
Last week I finally
Felt my feels,
My regrets, buckets of blues,
Aware and unaware,
That ripped worlds apart,
Mines and precious ones
Plus others.
On choices made
Rivulets of tears
On a life lost with the "one"
And my three,
For a life "won" with
Those three, plus four.
A truer, clearer life
And finding the "one" who made me,
Son of Galilee, my friend, my higher.
Tears dried, eyes made to see
Another chance
To feel a warm, gold-flecked sun,
The incandescent moon,
Those sparkles and speck of stars,
On crystal laden blue-green shores,
Arms entwined with someone more,
And that
Newer, freer, realized me...
